Immersive Maths

Transform STEM learning with Virtual Reality. Move beyond passive observation and try the first fully-interactive VR STEM workshop in the UK.

Immersive Maths uses cutting-edge technology to bring STEM concepts to life.

They boost confidence and inspire students by demonstrating the powerful application of the curriculum in fields like architecture, finance, conservation, and more.

Is the abstract nature of maths a barrier for the students?

Their STEM workshops are designed to break down that barrier. Immersive Maths makes maths real, accessible, and exciting.

Key Learning Objectives

  • Apply curriculum content to solve real-world problems

  • Develop critical thinking in a collaborative, team-based environment

  • Be able to manipulate shapes, models, and graphs in an immersive 3D space

  • Increase confidence and engagement in STEM subjects.

What Happens in a Workshop?

Students will participate in:

  • A breathtaking virtual reality experience where they can physically walk around and manipulate objects using the latest headsets

  • A collaborative team challenge where they must work together to synthesise their knowledge and solve a problem based on a real-world career scenario

  • Guided instruction from a fully qualified teacher who adapts the content to meet the needs of every learner.

Curriculum & Careers

Immersive Maths workshops are a powerful tool for enriching your curriculum and meeting key educational directives:

  • National Curriculum (Maths): Each session is built around a key topic from the KS3 or KS4 Maths curriculum

  • Cross-Curricular Links: The content naturally builds bridges to Science, Computing, Geography, Design Technology, and History

  • Careers Provision (Gatsby Benchmarks): Immersive Maths directly addresses the requirement to integrate careers into subject learning, providing meaningful encounters with STEM-related professions

  • Inclusivity: The experience is designed to be fully accessible for students with mobility issues and other disabilities.

The hardest part of an Immersive Maths workshop is getting the children out of the room. They learn about the exciting opportunities that the world has to offer. Every child should get experiences like this in their education.  Louis Peabody, personal development lead, Bluecoat Beechdale Academy, Nottingham

Archie was very friendly and understanding with our students, they all loved to learn maths in an engaging and fun way!  Chlo Wilson, lead mentor, Ignition Academy, Bilton, Warwickshire

The VR environment helped me understand how maths could be used in the real-world.  Year 7 student, Anthony Gell School, Matlock, Derbyshire
