Local Grants & Support

Avon Gardens Trust Applications are invited from primary schools for small grants to help them purchase plants or gardening equipment. Applications from primary schools in the former county of Avon only, please.
Funding system - Somerset Choices Funding available to meet the education needs of pupils aged 0 to 25.
Music Education Partnership - North Somerset A ‘one stop’ shop to all you need to support young people’s engagement with music.
National Grid Hinkley Educational Fund Every state funded primary and secondary school in the local authority areas of Bristol City Council, North Somerset Council, South Gloucestershire Council, Somerset County Council, Sedgemoor District Council and West Somerset Council is eligible to apply for a £500 or £1250 (for secondary schools) grant for STEM equipment during every year of the project.
North Somerset Council COVID-19 community grant is a new initiative set up to help communities affected by the pandemic.
Somerset Community Foundation Provide grants to local charities, community groups and social enterprises, to tackle some of the most pressing and complex challenges in the community.

Somerset Gardens Trust The Trust supports schools through grant aid for specified, viable and financially thought through projects.
Somerset Activity and Sports Partnership Dedicated to increasing the health and happiness of residents in Somerset through physical activity and sport.
South Gloucestershire Council Links to funding providers across Bristol, Bath and North East Somerset, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire.
Somerset Health & Wellbeing A local programme for delivering a whole school approach to mental health that allows schools.
Somerset Outdoor Curriculum Their aim is to support Primary schools across Somerset to deliver outdoor learning for up to half the school day.
Support Services for Education A one-stop shop of support services for education providers and other organisations including school and educational improvement packages, bespoke professional support, business and management services, courses and conferences.  
Shop at WHSmith between 1 June and 30 September 2021 and your school will receive 10% of all eligible purchases* in the form of digital vouchers. To take part, sign up by 30 July 2021. (*Books and stationery items.)
