Welcome to your regional PTA page. Dorset is known for its Jurassic Coast (a World Heritage Site), where the cliffs contain many fossils and famous features, such as Durdle Door and Studland Bay, which has one the world's largest seahorse-breeding colonies.

Local Grants & Support

Active Dorset Supporting sport and physical activity for the positive impact it has through improved physical and mental wellbeing, educational attainment, social cohesion and economic development on the lives of the people in Dorset.
The Bridge Educational Trust Supporting residents of Dorset with educational grants.
Dorset Community Foundation The Education Fund has been set up to help ensure all young people have equal opportunities to reach their full potential and can access education and training.
Dorset Council Funding for SEND Information on what funding there is for special educational needs or disability (SEND) in mainstream schools, including maintained schools, academies and free schools.
Dorset Gardens Trust Grants up to a maximum of £400 are awarded to primary, middle and special schools to fund new projects for their school gardens.
Dorset Music Hub Contemporary digital resources for music teachers and schools | Exciting online learning for children and young people.
Gillingham Town Council Grant Each year, Gillingham Town Council makes a limited sum available to help support local community and voluntary organisations.
LED Lighting Grant 40% off LED lighting with a lighting grant for schools in Dorset.
The Museum of East Dorset The Museum of East Dorset is committed to supporting schools and teachers in their delivery of national curriculum objectives.

Wessex Water Foundation The Wessex Water Foundation provides funding for projects which bring people together to build stronger communities.
